Testimonials

Kirstie has been supporting my daughter (15) for a while now, who struggles with ADHD and anxiety. I have tried numerous services and therapists, and none have formed a connection to enable effective engagement. Within 2 weeks my daughter was opening up (this has never happened before). Kirsties' methods are individualised - this is absolutely clear, and is exemplified by how quick my daughter opened up. After multiple years of what felt like hopelessness, we can see light at the end of the tunnel. I can't thank Lunarmind's service enough! I would recommend to anyone who's child is struggling!

Over recent months, Kirstie has truly begun to upskill our adults, helping them evolve into therapeutic parents and therapeutic thinkers. This development is fundamental to the nurturing environment we strive to create. Central to Kirsties approach is the focus on the child as the heart of the home. She consistently designs sessions that encourage adults to challenge their existing knowledge, particularly in areas such as pacing and various therapeutic approaches. This willingness to reflect and adapt is a testament to her commitment to both professional growth and the wellbeing of the children. Moreover, Kirstie’s offer of reflective supervisions and dedicated team meetings serves to deepen the quality of our collective work. These opportunities not only foster a culture of continuous learning but also strengthen the support system around each young person. It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child, and I can honestly say I am profoundly grateful to have Kirstie as a vital part of our village

My daughter has been having a weekly session with Kirstie, which she enjoys and often seeks this out leading up to the day she meets up with her. In the beginning Kirstie initially spent a few weeks taking her out on local walks with our family dog and sometimes Daisy (Rachel's therapy dog from Sam's Superheroes) who is lovely. The walks gave her the chance to express how she was feeling, build up trust and was a good opportunity for them to get to know one another. As her sessions have progressed, Kirstie provided a platform where she felt safe and encouraged her to recognise and regulate her thoughts and feelings.
